Following are treasured photographs of immigrants from our villages. The notation NEI (Not in Ellis Island) indicates that the immigration record has not yet been found although we know that the immigrant came to America during the 1892-1924 time period. The letters PEI indicate that the immigrant came to the United States before the 1892 opening of Ellis Island. If the photograph has USA/WC (for example), the immigrant was born in American to a parent from Wola Cieklinska, returned to the old country and then, at a later time, re-immigrated to America. We invite you to share photographs of your immigrant ancestors on this site.
